Mentored Environment Grants (MEGs) are offered through the Office of Research and Creative Activites (ORCA). These are awarded to eligible BYU faculty members and designed to facilitate student mentoring. Mentoring experience allows students to stand out from other undergraduates and provides greater opportunities to excel in their field. Because mentoring requires faculty members' time and resources, these grants become an enabling force– funding projects that may not have been feasible otherwise.

• Aug 27 – Application period begins
• Oct 25 – Application period closes
• Nov 1 – Chair endorsement's letters due
• Late Dec – MEGs announced
