External Scholarships
There are many external or non-BYU scholarships available to students. The following resources list opportunities for scholarships, fellowships, grants, and funding for research and research programs available to students studying CPMS majors.
Scholarships with Upcoming Deadlines
April 30
HENAAC lists several scholarship opportunities for students studying engineering, applied science, computer science and math ranging from $500-$5,000.
May 1
$2,000 scholarships to students studying math or science wth at least a 3.5 GPA.
May 11
Women with two years of completed undergraduate work who want to complete travel research projects are welcome to apply.
May 27
$10,000 and $5,000 scholarships are awarded to students pursuing careers in healthcare.
June 30
Scholarships awarded to junior or senior women pursuing a careeer in aerospace. Open to international students.
June 30
Scholarship open to PKP members looking to fund career development and/or post-baccalaureate studies. 140 awards of $500 each will be distributed.
July 1
Scholarships provided to U.S. students with at least a 3.9GPA for graduate study at the University of Oxford.
July 1
Scholarships for U.S. students with at least a 3.9GPA for studies at any British University.
July 1
Scholarships for one year of graduate study at any university in Ireland or Northern Ireland for U.S. students with at least a 3.9GPA.

This office maintains a list of external (non-BYU) scholarships and fellowship opportunities. Their database is searchable by several criteria including scholarship name, discipline of study, demographic group, professional programs and specialized lists of interest areas. They also maintain records of other opportunities including internships, study abroad programs, research opportunities, summer programs, and competitions.
