About the College
The College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at Brigham Young University houses seven departments: chemistry and biochemistry, computer science, geological sciences, mathematics, mathematics education, physics and astronomy, and statistics. Together we work towards achieving our two-fold mission:
-
To provide the environment, the mentors, the tools, and experiences in fundamental science and mathematics that students all across campus need in order to contribute in their various fields and become lifelong learners
-
To investigate, understand, and appreciate the beauty and complexity of the universe while enhancing reverence for its Creator
